DIGITAL BANKING AND MOBILE APP UPDATE FAQ's
October 18th - GO LIVE!
The new digital banking platform and First Bankers mobile app go live in the morning on October 18th. You can login using the button the homepage at FirstBankers.com and search for First Bankers in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Links and QR codes along with more information can be found at FirstBankers.com/digital-banking.
You can still call in or visit your local branch to make an internal transfer, make a deposit, or most other account transactions, too!
How do I login with the new platform?
- Use the single 'Digital Banking Login' button at FirstBankers.com - all customers, including businesses, will use the same login button- or download the new First Bankers Mobile App.
- Enter your username; we brought it over from our old system.
- Select your phone number or email to send your Secure Access Code and enter it.
- Set up your new password, and you’re set! Time to start exploring your new and improved digital banking options!
How will I login?
The new platform is now the same experience for all customers - consumers AND businesses; desktop AND mobile app! All customers will use the new mobile app and the same single login button at FirstBankers.com.
Why are these updates happening?
To give you the most seamless, reliable, and stable digital banking experience possible. Our new platform will have a unified online and app experience. Plus, businesses will now have access to the mobile app with loads of new features!
Will this affect my experience in the bank?
No, the in-bank experience you know and love will remain the same.
Will the update affect business users?
Yes, these upgrades will improve the experience for all users, offering business accounts full access to the mobile app and digital banking platform online! Remember that businesses and consumers will all use the same app and same login button at FirstBankers.com
What new features can I expect?
- CardSwap - Never lose services when you replace your debit card. When you get a new debit card, trusted subscription-based services like Netflix, Disney+, etc., will automatically import the new card information.
- Fully Mobile - Both consumers and businesses have complete digital banking capabilities on preferred mobile devices.
- Apple Watch Enabled - Never miss a notification with smartwatch connectivity.
- Modern Design - Updated user experience to help streamline your service.
- Customizable Navigation - Nickname, group, and edit your display options to tailor your profile to your needs.
- Self Service - Retrieve your username or add users to your business account online.
- Paperless Statements - Save the environment and your mailbox with the ability to enroll yourself in eStatements.
- Checks - Access your order history or place new orders.
- Mobile deposit & Bill Pay - will stay the same and maintain your history.
What will happen to my scheduled or recurring transfers?
Your transfers will continue as expected. However, you will not be able to view or manage them after the update. To see or make any changes, please speak with your banker, who will cancel your transfers in the old system and set them up in the new one.
Any transfers scheduled in the new system will function normally, allowing you to view or make changes yourself.
What will happen to my alerts?
Alerts will not transfer over; to continue to receive them, you will need to create them on the new app.
How will I know that I've downloaded the correct app?
The new app will be named "FirstBankers," with a lighter color icon. The old app "FBTC Mobile" has a burgundy background and will disappear from the app store. Don't worry; there will be links to download the app on our site.
